Harvard Solar Garden

To create a "community shared solar" installation that passes on all available incentives and benefits of solar PV to the participants, just as if it was installed on their own property. We also believe that community shared solar can be a viable project in other towns and have been sharing information with groups across the state.

The Harvard Solar Garden (HSG) is a medium-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) array at a single site offering shared ownership among stakeholders in the communities it serves. This model allows residents or businesses who cannot install solar modules on their own property to own solar electricity generating capacity, and to benefit from the same incentives that owners of on-site PV systems do.
